- Spring Creek Leadership (SCL) is a 9-week summer internship program starting June 1st.
- Raising up leaders is a pillar of the Spring Creek vision. SCL is a practical opportunity to invest into those who feel a calling to full-time ministry.
- Interns will gain insight and understanding into the culture and practices of Spring Creek and will get specific guidance in one of our ministry tracks.
- There are 4 ministry tracks available: Worship/Creative Arts, Youth Ministry, Kids Ministry, and University Ministry.
- FUN. Our interns will enjoy this time with us. We want you to experience our culture where we enjoy being together.
- LEARNING. This will be a learning experience in your personal life, your leadership, and
in ministry. - MINISTRY. This internship is about DOING ministry, not simply watching ministry be
done. You will be hands on and involved in the work of the ministry here.
- Interns are expected to be available for ministry events as well as report for office hours throughout the week.
- Interns will be in the office from 9am-4pm, Monday-Wednesday.
- Mondays will consist of team meetings, leadership courses with Spring Creek staff, and
church wide projects. - Every Tuesday at 9:30am we will have Staff Chapel, and typically a pastoral meeting to
follow. - The duration of Tuesday and Wednesday will be dedicated to specific ministry tracks.
- Interns can expect to have their lunches paid for on Tuesdays (all staff) and Wednesdays (track specific), and should plan to provide their own lunch on Mondays.
- Some weekly schedules may be altered based on events, trips, or needs of the ministry track.
